Release 2026-10-19

  1. Payment API specification updated to version 3.1

On October 19, 2026, the Payment API specification will be updated to version 3.1. We clarified the descriptions of baseAmount, originalAmount, exchangeRate, and fees for Settlement Items. This documentation update does not change existing API behavior and is fully backward compatible.

  2. Dunning level on OPOS Case updates

The oposCase.updated notification now includes the current dunning level of the OPOS Case in the field dunningLevel. The value is null when no dunning level is active, and it uses the same format as oposCaseDunning.issued. This applies to OPOS Case dunning only. Existing notification payloads stay valid; the new field is added.

  3. Metrics for OPOS Cases and Customers

Metrics are now available for additional entities, including OPOS Cases and Customers. This allows users to monitor key figures and gain better insights into these entities directly through Metrics. For further information see Metrics.

  4. Metrics nested grouping

Metrics now support nested grouping, allowing data to be grouped by multiple dimensions, such as day and status. This provides more detailed insights and makes it easier to analyze and compare data across different categories.

In addition, new visualization types are available, including Pie Charts, Line Charts, and Area Charts when creating custom Dashboard Widgets. For further information see Metrics.

  5. Data Report for OPOS Cases and Settlements

Data Reports have been extended to support additional entities, including OPOS Cases and Settlements. These entities can now be selected when creating reports, allowing users to analyze and export data across a wider range of business areas. This extends the existing reporting functionality and provides greater flexibility when working with data. For further information see Data Reports.

Please Note: We have only been collecting data for this report since the feature was introduced. Therefore, we are unable to provide reports containing data for OPOS Cases prior to 5 September 2026 and for Settlements prior to 15 October 2026.

  6. Audit Trail for Access Management Configuration

Changes to Access Management configurations are now recorded in the Audit Trail. This includes Session Settings, Local Login Settings, SSO Providers, and Login Behavior. Users can now track who made changes to these settings and when, providing greater transparency and traceability for security-related configurations.

  7. Billing Period Determination (Contract Line Items)

You can now set the billing period determination in the Web Portal when you create a contract or add a contract line item. It defines which billing period a line item is assigned to: the current billing period, the billing period of the functional date (delivery/service date), or the next document. This makes an existing API capability directly available in the Web Portal.

  8. Rated Usage Option Allowances Across Multiple Line Items

Option Allowances for rated usage options now apply correctly when a contract contains multiple line items for the same option within the same billing period. Contract-specific discounts are now reliably calculated, even for late-arriving rated usages.

  9. Option Allowances During Contract Creation

Option Allowances can now be added directly during contract creation instead of only after a contract has been created. This ensures discounts apply immediately, including for contracts billed at the start of the billing interval.

  10. Webportal Improvements

    1. The invoice detail page now shows PreBooked Items. Previously they were only visible in the OPOS Case details. The section only appears when the invoice actually has PreBooked Items.
