Billing

Billing is where instellix turns your business into compliant billing documents: it creates invoices and related document types, determines the correct tax for every line item, and produces, delivers, and archives the final documents.

The Billing area is organized in three chapters that follow the billing flow:

• Document Creation — from billable data to finalized, correctly numbered documents: billing runs, document types, draft review, document numbers, and customer aggregations.
• Tax Compliance — the correct tax for every item: tax rules and calculation, tax providers, and VAT ID validation.
• Document Provisioning — from finalized data to delivered documents: templates and translations, PDF output, distribution, e-invoicing with provider workflows, and archiving.
