E-mail Dispatch
instellix can deliver your billing documents to customers by e-mail — automatically, as part of document provisioning, without any manual sending.
How e-mail dispatch works
- Sender — the sender of the e-mail is derived from the operating site that issued the document, so your customers recognize the party they do business with.
- Recipient — the document is sent to the e-mail address of the document's invoice address.
- Activation per customer — e-mail dispatch is controlled by the customer's preferred document delivery setting: documents are dispatched by e-mail for customers whose preferred delivery is e-mail.
- Document types — which document types are dispatched by e-mail is configured per tenant.
E-mail is one of the channels through which your documents reach their recipients — alongside download and e-invoicing. Which format is generated for a document is controlled by the provisioning configuration; see Document Distribution.
E-mail dispatch is a per-customer setting: only customers whose preferred document delivery is set to e-mail receive their documents by e-mail.
