Document Provisioning

Document Provisioning turns finalized billing data into finished, compliant documents — it generates the document files, delivers them to your customers and to the authorities, and keeps them safely archived.

Creating a correct document is only half the job. Every business has its own requirements for how documents look, which languages they use, whether they must be issued as electronic invoices, and how they reach the recipient. Document Provisioning bundles all of these capabilities in one configurable place, so the same billing result produces exactly the right output for every customer, country, and document type.

With File Creation, you control how the document file is created from the document data. Document templates define the layout and branding, translations let the same template produce documents in each customer's language, document subtotals structure how line items are presented, and the PDF output settings let you create accessible PDFs.

With Document Provisioning Configuration, a rule-based configuration selects the PDF variant, e-invoicing format, and method for each document — for example by billing group, document type, customer type, or invoice address country, with a default wherever no rule matches.

With E-Invoicing, you issue legally compliant electronic invoices. instellix generates formats such as ZUGFeRD and XRechnung and helps you keep up with country-specific regulations that increasingly make e-invoicing mandatory.

With an E-Invoicing Provider, your e-invoices reach tax authorities, e-invoicing networks such as Peppol, and real-time reporting platforms. Avalara ELR validates, formats, and submits your invoice data, and the workflow monitoring shows you the status of every transmission.

With Document Archiving, you choose how documents are retained: download all documents via API into a compliant archive of your own, or use the certified instellix archive, which covers compliance requirements for more than 50 countries and gives auditors web-based access.

Together, these capabilities provide a single place to generate, deliver, and retain every billing document — accurately, in the right format, and compliant with the regulations of each country you operate in.
